Compass Moving Services

We chose Compass from a number of companies we had quote for our move. We had various prices some what was only £1000. After speaking to John at compass and exchanging many emails we decided to book compass they was not the cheapest quote out of the five we chose them because the knowledge and information we received from John. as we had a two young children we opted for the packing services at what a god send this service is. nothing was to much for this company we would highly recommend this company to anyone who is moving to Spain or anywhere.

First of all, we moved to Italy, not Switzerland. We could not asked for a better removals service from the first call to the last item moved into our home in Italy. We chose compass as Lee who was the one who dealt with our move was so knowledgeable and every question we asked was answered quickly. On the move day John and Dean was excellent they was polite and took care of everything wrapping all our items before loading this took a lot of worry from us as we have a lot of antique furniture. We have to admit they was not the cheapest of all quotes received. But I would suggest you search for reviews on all companies that you ask for a quote there are some shocking reviews on certain companies. We would highly recommend compass to anyone who moves.

This was as good as it could possibly be. To think we kidded ourselves we could have done it ourselves. I cannot recommend this service highly enough. From the moment we first started messing them about (2 aborted purchases of our house) to the moment they refitted the gates on our new house the service was first class. Friendly, knowledgeable, careful, courteous. I particularly recommend that you let them pack. They are far better at it than I could ever hope to be. Although we had significantly decluttered before hand we still had a lorry full of boxes to move. Export packing, and careful handling meant safe delivery of my delicate HiFi. An ability to get into our narrow drive in Kent (branch removed) and even narrower near vertical gateway in France (gates removed, and then replaced) meant that they got the lorry to the decking round the house, and could unload our American Fridge Freezer on a sack barrow.

Just awesome. Arrived 8.00 Monday in Kent, hoovered our house into boxes, and delivered them to the correct rooms in France on Wednesday - gone by 2PM.

We chose Compass out of four companies. They were not the cheapest out of the four but from the first contact with Karen they were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for this company. The guys on the pack day - John, Simon and Steve, done a fantastic job at packing all our items and do so much care in doing this. If this was left to us to pack I think we would still be there packing. I would like to say a big thank you to Graham and Simon on the delivery. There were a couple of challenges for the delivery team but they did not complain one. Would highly recommend this removal company to any one who is moving.

Compass Moving Services moved the contents of our home from our storage company in Kent, UK in July 2014. Lee gave us excellent professional communication throughout the removal, we knew exactly what was going on and when to expect the delivery of our home contents here in France. No breakages and goods arrived in good condition. All of our goods were placed in the rooms we required them to be put into, nothing was to much trouble. After weeks of contacting many companies to get quotes we chose Compass Moving Services out of the four companies we chose there quote came out middle from the four. We speaking to Lee he explained everything start from finish nothing was too much for on the day of the packing the crew arrived the foreman walked around with us and we showed them what I to be packed and not it took the guys three days to pack they were a lot quicker than we expected. On the fourth day there truck arrived it took them most of the day to load. They arrived in Genève four days later to this day we don t know how Jim and Karl got the truck outside it took nearly two days to unload unpack and set up. All we can say is this is one of the best moving experiences we have had and we have moved ten times now. So we would highly recommend compass to anyone who is moving.

We highly recommend this company compass moving services have been truly professional from start to finish. Our first contact Karen was extremely helpful she arranged for the survey guy to come out to us. When Mark arrived he viewed everything even opened all our cupboards so he could work out how many boxes we need he was the only one out of the four which did this after about half hour walking around he then sat down to explain everything which gave my wife confidence on using compass. When we got all our quotes compass was a tad more expensive so we called them and explained we would like to use you but price was the highest so they adjusted the price slightly. On the move day we had the guys come in and pack everything the next day truck came along and loaded . the delivery day was as good as the rest of the move apart from a parking issue which to admit was my fault I recommend you reserve more space they needed this was the only bad thing about the move but the guys just soldiered  on. If you are moving to Switzerland or anywhere would highly recommend compass great job guys.

We chose Compass Moving Services for our move from London to Norway . We have moved a around 6 times due to my husbands work I can seriously say this has been the best moving service from start to finish. We had them pack all out items the count was obe 350 items they packed it all in just four days this would of to us months and how careful everything was packed was amazing we had a baby grand piano the last movers damaged this we was so worried but they took very good care of dismantling the piano and wrapping it before crating the piano. In Norway every arrived safely and no damage we would highly recommend this company to anyone .

We chose Compass from a choice of 3 movers that came to give us an estimate. The reasons we chose Compass was from the first point of call they were very helpful and nothing was too much we had to swap our appointment at last minute. The estimator on the day was Lee tor a young chap he was very knowledgeable and knew his stuff. We received there quote they was not the cheapest but me and my wife had a good vibe about the company. The move went very well and we have no complaints about this company would highly recommended them to anyone who is moving. .
